How to Use Your Smart Business Card:

1. Align & Tap

• For Android devices, NFC reading must be turned on through device settings.
  • Swipe down on your home screen
  • Tap the ‘NFC’ icon to toggle NFC reading on
  • Tap the back of your card (the blank side with no print) near the center on the back of the smartphone
  • if the phone’s case is too thick to read the card, it may need to be removed

• For Apple devices (from 2013 and onward), the screen must be on
  • Tap the back of your card (the blank side with no print) to the very top of the front (screen) side of the smartphone

• For older Apple devices (from before 2013) NFC must be turned on
  • Open the Settings menu
  • Select Control Center
  • Scroll and tap the green plus button to the left of ‘NFC Tag Reader’
  • Return to the home menu and swipe up from the bottom of your screen
  • Look for the ‘NFC Tag Reader’ icon and tap it to turn NFC reading on
  • You may now tap the back of your card (the blank side with no print) to the very top of the front (screen) side of the smartphone

2. Pop-Up Notification

• Once the Smart Business Card NFC tag is read, a notification will appear at the top of the device’ screen
• Tapping the notification will open a link to the Smart Business Card profile in the web browser of your choice

3. Load the Contact

• Once the profile page has loaded to the web browser, the device will be ready to download and save the contact information internally
• Tap the red button to download the profile’s contact information onto the device (A V-card will be prompt for download on android phones)

4. Save the Contact

• Download and open the V-card
• Next, tap the ‘Import’ button to save the contact onto the device
